Bought this game after reading up on what the game was about and seeing so many people praise this game online for how good it is. I personally LOVE old games like these and this game for me had major Half Life 1 vibes, which is another series I thoroughly enjoy. The game at first was a bit tricky to get into with the binds being wonky as ♥♥♥♥ and having to setup the game by modernizing it with DirectX 10 and a new launcher, but if you stick it out, it's a phenomenal game. From all of the crazy conspiracy theories this game covers, the funny NPCs, augments, skill points, and the insane lore. It's just crazy to me how a game like this came out in the year 2000, which makes me have a much higher respect for this game than that of a lot of modern AAA games that come out today.

It is crazy how well the gameplay and story of this game holds up to today.
A masterpiece in the immersive sim genre, Deus Ex had me enjoying it the whole way through.
