dual sense question
do the adaptive triggers of the dual sense controller give any additional feedback in dirt 2.0?

It's an old game for DS4.

DR2.0's final update was released in 2021 and did not include support for adaptive triggers so it is extremely unlikely there will ever be support for them.

that would be the killer argument for me to upgrade to a dual sense and dirt would be much easier with additional feedback.

What feedback? Xbox controller is still the best because of vibration triggers.

Screw the xbox controller, get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wheel. It will improve your experience 1000x.

yeah, i know and i want to buy one but it will not be in the near future. to scrach the itch i had to go back to GT4 only to have a game that actually gives you feedback while playing with a controller.

You can be fast with both pad and wheel. The context of gameplay is vastly different coordination and feedback loop in simracing than it is with FPS games, and you could indirectly also say that some flight sims actually work pretty cost effectively with a pad.

No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ spending 3-4 digit numbers on wheel (or joystick + additional switchboards, levers and such) and proper rig gives better immersion and precision, but if someone just wants to drive and be fast, both pad and wheel are perfectly functional for the job.

bruh, you don't have to come in here with your hateboner and defend your choice of not spending money on your hobby and being ok with the none existing feedback on a gamepad. nobody cares.

i refuse to play racing games (simcade or sims) with a controller because my driving skill is suffering greatly from it and i don't enjoy it. there is not enough information going through the pad to let me "feel" what the cars are doing.

can you be fast with a pad? yes, of course. is it the best way to play these games? definitely no.

i am sure there are ppl out there that can beat dirt rally 2.0 with a guitar hero guitar.
