I have the same issue after the last update. However, no match ever starts. I can see myself move through the queue, but when the game goes to launch, it just hangs and will eventually timeout with this error. I followed the support guide and tried changing a bunch of settings, verifying game files, allowing anti cheat, and even tried reinstalling.

Same here, i played it on xbox and loads instantly but on steam it takes ages to load and then kicks me out, none of the suggestions to fix it work.

I have also tried all the 'fixes' but nothing seems to work. The latest suggestion was to connect via hotspot to test if it is my wifi but I got the same outcome. Now waiting for any more suggestions from Team17

Same here after last patch.
I start HLL. Enlist the servers but cant switch between favorites and friends or it will write that NO COMPATIBLE SERVER FOUNDS. Then i need to restart whole steam or it will not load.
When i search for server by keyword, i see server status but cant log in to the queue. It just loading for like 10 secs and then it types COULDNT CONNECT TO THE SERVER. Im not using third party or anything. I can play in practice range perfectly but when it comes to online service, its just dropping. Tried to fix by YT videos, nothing worked.
Can't join via steam friends, and everythings looking good in task manager.
I guess its some kind of patch bug and we just can wait for update becuase everything else working just perfect online/offline.

Okay so while typing here, i was ALT-TABED and game randomly joined me to the game.
For anyone try to enlist servers and just chill for 10 mins :D

same problem. "lost connection to host". never used to happen until some update now I can't play it.

Glad Im not alone.....for the love of our sanity...fix this sh*(t!

i tried everything suggested by the community as well as developer support, nothing worked for months until today when i upgraded the HD from optical to NVMe solid state drive, all problems went away instantly so if all else fails and you have an optical drive, you might look into upgrading to solid state drive if your motherboard supports it.

Same here, funny enough on the 2nd try it works without any issues. And until just a few updates ago this did not happen to me at all.

Been reported hundreds of times allready. Not acknowledged by the devs afaik.
