The way it stands right now, you need to merge a combat fleet to your fleet, then if you want to go pure trading again, you need to remove every combat ship from your fleet individually, and then remake the combat fleet from scratch. It is very cumbersome, where a button that allows you to take control of the lead ship of a fleet would make the whole process a lot less of a cluster.
The reasoning doesn't even make sense let alone the misuse of the nomenclature. Not only shouldn't I need to make a "fleet" just so I can change ships, I shouldn't be mixing trade and combat vessels in fleets anyway.
