IIRC they allow for more population, and places to tell certain goods from the end of the production chain

I'd like to know how player habitats actually work? From what I remmber they suppose to give cash for consumed resources, but where I can find when this happen (e.g. when I sell the resourcess, or when they are consumed)?

Can I see habitat revenue in accounting tab?
