Hat availability (ARG spoiler)

While I requested a hat for myself after going through the given steps, I haven't received one, or any response, even after sending Future Games Select a message.

Now, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining about a free item, but just earlier I also noticed how all hats seemingly disappeared from Community Market.
Edit: It seems to only be a hiccup on SCM's side, viewing an archived version from last year[web.archive.org] reveals "vanished" hats.

Are hats no longer a thing? The entire thing around them excited me, I wish to know if the intended method of getting them is still around.

You have been able to get one hat only. After a couple of month it changed to a different one, until they have been all gone. Not sure if the dev will bring back the event one day? ...would be great!

Are you saying the hat supply is short? ...Where can I verify this?

It was a time limited event. Think i was the first one who ordered hat 1 in the collection. If the Dev reads this, would be amazing if you could release a collection 2
