Well I'm super sad, but the idea of a new Splitgate in UE5 sounds amazing.

In a game with garbage MMR, force feeding bots and pitting 4 stacks against solo pro players asking them to carry feeding AI. I saw this one coming from a mile away.
This game is hot trash, and the lack of progress was only a sign of the times.
Never have I been more happy to see this abomonition of a dumbster fire recieve such an immediate coffin, may their next game be miles better.

they killed this game. MONEY WASTED. no anticheat working, no modes without portals from beginning on, trash ping (but ping is still secret) microfreezes, mouse lag due to UE depending on ping too much.

Good thing I didn't spend any money on the game.

What a shame, the game was fun and original. Personally, i think they killed the game too early, to be honest.

Sad But a new game with portals sounds good. Sounds like they will keep the lights on for awhile.

this was bound to happen, now that the team is larger and has more talent, makes sense for them to start prioritising new games, and stopping with the content for this one, it died faster then most but in there case i would say thats good since now with a larger team, they can make a bigger better game

Yes, but when they decide to shutdown servers in favor of that new game, Splitgate will die. Unless the devs open the game up for community hosted servers, then it can live for as long as there are people playing it, like our beloved UT99s and Quake 3s,

Let's cross that bridge when they shut servers down then. People don't need to stop playing because there is no new content if the games is solid.
