There are some effects which do not show up in a multiplayer game. One pretty substantial one that seems to be missing are the Combo Nova projectiles. In a multiplayer game neither of us could see the other person's Combo Nova projectiles, although we could see our own locally. Im not certain that remote Combo Novas displayed in the past, but believe that they used to when playing with a different friend a year or so ago on another profile.

The setup for this in case it matters:
- Played on stable Steam build, May 13, 2020 (Title screen does not show version)
- I own the Pyramid DLC, friend does not. He hosted over Steam Friends / Invite.
- We were playing on a brand new profile with no other characters or town upgrades.
- Host was sorcerer, i was a ranger, we unlocked the combo orb in previous runs.
- We did not restart re-host the server since unlocking the Combo Nova.
- Connection was stable, i pinged ~40 according to the menu. Friend is 10 miles away.

- When the remote player picks up food, it seems to show the value of the pickup listed twice in green numbers. For example an apple shows two instances of 10 in rapid succession.

- When the local player buys something from a shop it plays the 'purchase' sound locally, and the 'item pickup' sound remotely. This may or may not be intentional, but can be noticed both in town and in the dungeon.

- Other effects such as the Sorcerer's Ice Barrier also do not appear to show to the remote player in a multiplayer game either. When his damage barrier was active i was unable to see it.
