Game does not start

Hello
Im having a huge issue with the game since the Biotec Update.
I`ve tried to deinstall and install it again but when i try to start it (doesn`t matter if im starting it directly from the Vive Headset or in the Steam Library) the game wont load. Theres just the picture of the game in the Headset and after a few minutes its gone. I dont know what to do. Before the update it worked perfectly. All my antivirus is deactivated and all other games work perfectly. Please help me couse i wont miss this game its awesome.

We've recently released an update on PC side of things I hope this fixes your issue, are you still experiencing the same issue?

Hi there. Im sorry to report its not working. Its still the same issue. Ive tried to deinstall and install it 3 times since and its not working. I want it to run cause i`ve only had the best experience with this game in any VR title. How could i fix this? I started the game inside the VR Menu or outside the VR menu and it wont load. In the Steam Menu it quickly switches back to "start game". and in the VR Menu the small Loading screen appears but nothing is happening and i have to restart the Vive again to get back to the Stem Menu.

Do i have to install the normal Contagion Game again to make the VR version work?

You shouldn't need to install the original Contagion Game. Hard to tell what this could be. You mentioned you turned off your anti virus, that was my first guess. I've asked the team, and they aren't sure what it could be either. Might have to give you access to the beta build and see if that works, if you are still willing to try.

Thank you so much for your support. I am desperate to play this game again so it would be awesome to get it running again. I would like to try the beta build to see if this works. Thank you very much.

Ok here it is, right click on CVRO in your library and go to properties, from there go to beta tab, and put this in. "extracrispybacon".

Ok im so happy that it worked. The Live-mixed reality version worked but its of course full of bugs. Cant load the weapon etc etc but thats what the betas are for. I now try to install the normal Version again to see if anything changed. Thanks alot guys.

So i tried to strt the official version but its the same old problem. The game doesnt start. Its the same problem as before. I klick the start button but it immediatly stops and the start button turns green again in the steam menü and it wont start.

Good to know^ so the next build should fix it if you didn't have issues with it in beta. (shouldn't being the key word xD) We are a bit swamped with some rl things, but we are hoping to get the next build to include a few more things. Then it should be live, for now just play on the beta branch.
