The Darkness II is an okay game that starts strong and spirals downwards in terms of story and gameplay.
At the end I couldn't stand the hordes of enemies that were only thrown at me to pad the runtime.
The story itself is okay at the start, but turns to a mush of letters and figures at the end.

From a technical perspective the game holds up, it still runs great on modern machines and it looks and sounds good.

My rating 6,5/10, try it if you can get it cheap.
