There's a medal(ribbon) achivement for defusing 40 duds. Is it some kind of c4 which is placed by the ♥♥♥♥? Can someone pls enlighten me about this? It would be great if you even manage to send a screenshot of "dud".

I played for about 30 waves and encountered at least one bug that was gamebreaking. 1. I would gain 12 command points every wave on Normal and on the daily rescue mission, (Not sure if intended, but when I played before the patch I would gain only 6). 2.
