Feedback and Suggestions [May Contain Spoilers]
Hello! Jamie the developer here again. I just thought I'd post a quick reminder to say that I'd absolutely love to get feedback and suggestions from you guys. As far as I'm concerned, that's what early access is all about. With your help, we can cram Wrongworld full of fun and strip out or evolve any not-so-fun bits, all the while trying to balance the challenge of it.

With that in mind, please do let me know your thoughts, either here in this thread or just start a fresh one. I'll be doing my absolute best to keep track of each and every one.

How about adding the feature to domesticate animals, for your survival, and the animal you domesticate are large innocent hamster-like/Gerbil creatures, or if you can think of something funnier, then that. And you can skin them for clothes to survive the cold, but if you are wearing their skin as clothes, and you stand close enough, these innocent-looking creatures very unexpectedly attack you like a pack of piranhas, doing huge amounts of damage, and killing you

or maybe instead if you kill these cute hamster-like creature's babies, THEN they jump onto you, dealing huge amounts of damage

and tribal war paint you can smear on your character

Haha! I like the idea of a giant hamster, and maybe it needs to be captured in a giant plastic hamster ball and rolled back to your base :) Maybe it could be your trusty steed as well. I do already have the domesticating and breeding of Pig Beasts on my list of potential additions for the future, but I'm definitely adding giant hamsters to the list as well! Thanks for the suggestion, dude. Much appreciated.

In other news, I just clicked that magical "Launch" button. Eeep! I'm actually trembling with over-excitement! :) EEEEEEEEEP!!

Hi, nice game, but I have some problems: I can not pick up what the inhabitants let me when I kill them, sorry for my English is not my native language

To pick stuff up, you can either look at it so it has an orange outline and then click the Interact button (right mouse button by default), or simply hold down the Interact button and you should automatically pick up anything nearby. If that doesn't appear to be working for you, make sure your inventory isn't full (default inventory key is "E"). If that still isn't working for you, just let me know and I'll ask a few more questions and try to get to the bottom of it for you :)

No, it does not work, when I start if I could collect gold and some material, but suddenly it stopped working and I can not collect anything else, the inventory is empty, thanks :)

How strange. A few more questions:

1) Do you still see the orange outline when looking at items on the floor? But right-clicking does nothing?
2) If you stand near an item and hold right-mouse button to start auto-collectnig, does he move towards the item or just do nothing?
3) Are you using keyboard and mouse or a gamepad?
4) I assume you're stood up and aren't crawling?

Sorry for the silly questions. I'm just trying to narrow down what could possibly be causing this, as it's not something I've encountered during testing.

1 not the outline no longer appears
2 does not do anything
3 I use an xbox controller, but I have tried with a keyboard and it does not pick up anything

Do not worry about the questions

Ok, it seems that now it works ... uninstall the game and reinstall it, it seems like it could be a mistake of some kind ... I do not know ... :) ..

Interesting. Don't worry, we'll figure it out in the end! The fact that the outline isn't appearing really helps to narrow it down. A few more questions if you don't mind:

1) Are you stood near anything in particular? For example, structures you've crafted or random points of interest? If so, please could you move away from that area, smash a tree or a rock some distance away, and see if you're able to pick up the items that drops? A while back in testing, I did encounter an issue that could prevent the outline from appearing and stop right-click from picking this up when stood next to a certain thing in the world (a thing that I won't spoil here in case you haven't seen it yet), but that was fixed. Also, that problem would not prevent holding right-mouse/the auto-collect system from automatically picking things up, even if directly picking the item up wasn't working, so I doubt it's related.

2) I know this is an annoying question, but do you have any other programs open in the background, other than Steam? Or are you recording a video? I'm just wondering if some other program has started capturing the right-mouse button. Although, as you've said you've tried both controller and mouse, this is unlikely to be the problem.

I do have other questions and there are other things I may ask you to try if you have the patience (such as sending me the save file to see if I can recreate it here, or, as you said it was working to start with, maybe starting a new game in a different save slot to see if you can force the problem to occur again), but we may as well step through these simpler things first to see if we can identify exactly what's causing this issue.

Sorry about this by the way. I'm frantically testing the game on 3 computers here at the moment trying to recreate the problem, but no luck so far!

Problem solved with a reinstallation, I see that I did not read the previous post XD .. I feel the annoyances, it seems that it was some problem of installation, I have been playing a little time without problems, thank you very much :)

And now some constructive criticism :), maybe the world looks a little empty, maybe more vegetation, forests and life, some town, caves to explore, birds or flying creatures, the good thing about being a little empty, you can always put more things XD, good luck with the game;)

How very, very strange. If you do encounter the problem again, please do let me know the details (things like what you're stood near, when it started happening, anything that may help me narrow it down). I'm continuing testing things on this end to see if I can recreate it. I'm wondering if it's some lingering issue to do with the UI snatching focus from the game rather than letting you control the character, so simply opening and closing the inventory may fix that.

Thanks for your understanding by the way. I really appreciate it. The last thing I wanted to do was launch a game with any tedious fun-spoiling bugs in it. I'll get to the bottom of it in the end, though!
