This Game has been My Home base for over 2 years, with almost My entire Friend group and community Built within it.

ChilloutVR Has the potential to Definitively Surpass VRChat in Functionality and Creative Freedom, But falls too Short on the Resources and Community Support VRChat has at their Disposal to compete in terms of Development and Quality of Service.

The Community is Great overall though, with many users being helpful to new players.
also, Most of The most Problematic individuals have been Pushed out in recent months, though Drama does occasionally flare up, but that's to be expected on any social platform.

Here's what We're dealing with on the development side of things:

1. We've been forced to change Voice System providers multiple times since I first joined Due to Vivox and Dissonance breaking too much no matter what they did, and are now relying on a Custom Voice system created and maintained by around 1-2 Developers within the Company, which actually works fine, but the server provider it's been hosted from has been dropping packets to the point where it's rendered inoperable, but luckily they're working on getting a new provider.

1.5. The UI has been broken through no true fault of the Devs, with Them Contracting it out to 4 different people, including an actual company with all of them Fumbling or Dropping the Projects and leaving Us with the Mediocre "Old" UI

2. The game is being made by a Small development team that doesn't 100% get along, with most being volunteers last time I checked.

2.5. The game rarely receives updates on the Live branch due to the Devs being obsessed with fixing bugs and perfecting features before they launch (even though they sometimes fail), but what most complainants don't know is that There is a LOT of work being done on the experimental branch to test Updates before they release, which posts update logs to an "Experimental Branch" Section on the Discord that only long time members chat in, not Steam

3. Funding is quite sparse outside of the Patreon, with the CEO working an IRL job to Support Himself and occasionally buy things out of pocket for the Project.
as You can imagine, They don't have a lot of the paid tools, Infrastructure and full time Developers that a large corporation would have access to.

The Game is not without it's issues, but It's slowly getting to where it needs to be.

Cmon Guys, break the Cycle of the "Playercount Paradox" and get on so there's more people, instead of complaining about a lack of users

This is THE COOLEST desktop/VRchat program.
There's no little kids who constantly show off how they have no discipline from their parents. The culture is half creatives/creators of the world and the other half is responsible enough to engage in intelligent discussion.

All those little prissy kids who grow up, get a car from dad without earning, die from making stupid decisions before they turn 40, just aren't using this VR chat program. At least for now, you don't really need to be too careful what room you're in to have a decent discussion
