I don't really understand the antagonism towards this game. It's a stable, solid addition to the Civ franchise. The work that has gone into the tech tree is impressive, the affinities and the way they interact with the broader game-play is very sophisticated and the design is beautiful.

Only one minor gripe is maybe that the soundtrack is very unadventurous but hey! You can't have everything!

Needs font scaling for 4k res.

Leider viel Negatives.
- Die UI lässt sich nicht skalieren. In 4k damit kaum Spielbar, wenn man nicht gerade mit der Nase am Bildschirm klebt.
- Kein Autosave. CTD nach 3 Stunden Spielen und damit 3 Stunden deines Lebens auf nimmer wiedersehen.
- Antialiasing ON: Diplomatie funktioniert nicht mehr und blockt damit bei eingehendem Angebot das weiterspielen. Antialiasing OFF: Alles bewegliche flackert, dass man epileptische Anfälle bekommt.
- Diplomatie ist so marginal, dass man es fast schon weg lassen könnte. Fast keine Auswahlmöglichkeiten und ob dir jemand den Krieg erklärt, ist RNG.
- Upgrade-System für Einheiten ist schlimm, keine Aufschiebemöglichkeiten, friss oder stirb.
- Einheiten in Städten nicht anwählbar. Einmal garisoniert, für immer weg.

Fühlt sich eher wie ein proof of concept als ein fertiges Spiel an. Als ob jemand auf die Schnelle zeigen wollte, dass man auch Alpha Centauri mal neu aufsetzen kann.
