Xbox Series Controller Issue

When I use the Xbox Series Controller without Steam Input its buttons reversed and left stick shifting. Only playable with Steam Input. Why? Does this game do not use Xinput?

No idea, but let me tell you this pal: just use the mouse and keyboard. 10times easier to play.

Had this issue. What I did is have a mouse connected (laptop user) and when the game started turn on the Series controller which the controller had no issues since.
