Crew Rankings changing . . . again?

Greetings,

It is my understanding that the Crew Rankings on this game are changing again. Last change was in March of 2018. During that change the formula for Crew Rankings were made publicly available at the wiki here: https://guide.casinorpg.com/crews/overview

That formula is as follows:

[(Crew Level × 0.5) + (Battles Won × 0.25) + (Wars Won × 0.15) - (Battles Lost × 0.05) - (Wars Lost × 0.05)] × 100000

It is my understanding that this newest round of changes is happening due to: "Complaints that the rankings still aren't transparent enough. If this is the Developer's actual response, please explain what is not transparent about it? Anyone can look at every crew's level, battles won/lost, and wars won/lost. How in the hell is that not transparent? Any simpleton can put those numbers into a calculator to see if they are correct or not.

I would like the Developer to comment on this situation. And here is some unsolicited advice (since I am the king of unsolicited advice): World of Warcraft was the largest MMO in the world. It made MMOs today. And it is dead. Not even a fraction of it's former glory. Why? Because Blizzard attempted to appease the few and in doing so . . . lost the many. Learn from their mistakes. Drop this "dumbing" down of the game's Crew Rankings. It is a fool's errand and you risk losing many of your hardcore player base.

But to answer your question . . . I personally am no longer interested in your game. I do wish you the best, though. Seems like most do not mind the change. Good luck to you.

Your original post was based purely on speculation without having any idea what the actual changes would be. We simply were curious about your reaction to what was actually changed. The feedback we've received after the update has been overwhelmingly positive.
