Yes... either way, there are a couple of mods that correct ballistics, muzzle velocity, etc., to realistic values.
The default values aren't that far off, but they're not exact.
Also, if we're going to make a direct comparison, ArmA Gold has more realistic values than OFP/CWA. OFP's values were more arcade-like, because it was the first, which was also the best of the best for its time.
No man, there's clearly some bug or whatever the f*** that is, everything else feels OK.
I was hitting them and even saw 'blood marks' but they still needed like 5-6 shots sometimes lol. It is one of the very first few missions, the one you get a sniper rifle and shoot up a convoy from a water tower. Anyway, it scared me sh1tless that newer ARMA games will be like that lol, thanks god no/
It was weird way to 'introduce' me to the game but I didn't have that kind of problem anywhere else later in the game.
I just did that mission. They wear body armour. and U are quite far from them. Headshot kills them instantly. But honestly it is very annoying mission.
