Eager to play this game, and, although the mouse pointer works, I can't click on anything and had to ALT-F4 my way out. What gives?

Hi. I recently created a custom map and the game wont let me play it. help please

I know it's a lot to ask and may be impossible. But it would be great if we could edit the unit stats via a text file or something. As is, there are a lot of creative possibilities that other games do too, but not quite as quick and easy as Attrition.
