CD key from Uplay

So I downloaded this free version and when i log into my uplay account (that you need to make or have) it asks me for the CD key and it was never provided so I can't try the game..
I tried the recommended fix's from both Steam&Uplay and nothing yet, anyone know how to resolve this?

In steam library need to install "For honor", instead "For honor public test".

this free for honor will last till monday? or you can get it for free until monday?
im downloading it now, but if it will only last till monday i will not finish and will wait for some kind of a sale in the future

Added to steam library at first day of free time, downloaded, started game, Uplay client asks for key. SCAM.

Привет кто знает почему не приходит письмо с кодом когда пытаешься восстановить пароль в Uplay. Пробовал раз 10 и все без результата

Look in your steam library, you will see "for honor" and "for honor Public test" You need to install "for honor" which is the free version and they won't ask for a key

This is so stupid...so my internet isn't bad to play on, but since it takes forever to download things I have to spend four days to download the base game, which I already have on uplay downloaded...in order to play the open beta with my steam friends because you have to use the base game to get a Cd when the CD is being asked for, for the beta. This method is kind of messed up Ubi. Not gonna lie.
