[SPOILER] Random thought: a way to manipulate fate?

Just a thought I had. Since captain Robert's estate and name went shattered after the ending I was wondering if there's a way to save his name and memory.

He did what was best for the crew at the best of his capability, only for him to be remembered as a psychopath who went on a rampage against the remaining of his crew even after the mutiny. So his estate was taken from him after death. Maybe there's a chance to change his fate so it was all in self-defense?

The result was probably fixed and probably there's no change in the ending, but would you like it to be a possibility?

The estate wasn't confiscated by the Crown because of the other deaths, even the ones he inflicted. It was because forfeiture of property to the Crown was standard practice at the time for the estates of suicides.
