How can I prevent motion sickness? [resolved]
I've played a bunch of first-person games in the past 2 years, and Obra Dinn was the only one that gave me motion sickness. Usually I can fix this by playing the game in windowed mode and making the window smaller, but I haven't been able to find that setting. Is there anything else I can do that's easier than plugging a second keyboard into my laptop and sitting 2 meters away from it every time I play the game?

Update: I finished the game. I no longer need to prevent motion sickness.

-Open Steam
-Go to the "Library"
-Right-click the game which needs to be reconfigured
-Select "Properties..." from the menu
-Go to the section "Launch Options"

in the text field on the bottom. type:

-screen-width 800 -screen-height 600 -windowed
(even -windowed alone should force a windowed experience.)

you can force resolution here.. 640 x 480, etc.

if it doesn't work. let us know.

I copy pasted these exact settings into the launch options, made sure the settings were saved, and launched the game, and nothing seemed to change.
There is an anti motion sickness mod on nexusmods, or here: https://github.com/Jobus0/ObraDinn-AntiMotionSickness

Try this:

1. First ALT+ENTER into the windowed mode
2. Then select those in game settings:
-Display mode: Commodore1084 (blue/purple)
-Output: sharp(shrink-1)
-Mouse sensitivity: second to last

I used those settings and managed to play through it. Hope it works. Have fun!
