Implemented 3 extra animation tasks for sentient objects. Assassins and Widow Demons now play new animations in their AI scripts for modders to use as examples. Thanks to Castle_G for finding the old animation files. Also fixed a couple minor bugs and removed some redundant model files from DLC assets.

There are now 28 new objects salvaged from the old DarkBASIC/FPSC archives, set up with INI scripts to easily load into the world editor with the "make=???" command.

Test Branch Only: Updated all story files so that ladders are saved as type "usable" with better positions for climbing down. I hate updating the story files because they are huge, so right now this is only in test branch. Please help make sure nothing is corrupted in the test branch (game properties in Steam --> Betas tab --> choose "test" from drop-down box).

Still going to make a final BATTLES challenge map and achievement when Brigand hits 500 reviews. Just 20 more to go.

New alternate HUD option, which spews less info onto your screen, but lets you press TAB to reuse your previous ability (so you don't have to bring up the abilities menu).

Also, there is now a "Tactics Mode" that modders can use for a play style where time does not advance unless the player moves. This new feature can be utilized in NIGHTMARE with two new abilities: Temporal Lobe Implant (cybernetics) and Damballa's Grace (voodoo). Also updated the Pantheon of Loa in-game text with new lore: Kalfu and Damballa.

There is now a "fadeOut" command that modders can use to fade out any object (and then delete). This is for modders who want to make infinite respawns but don't want infinite corpses. Also fixed a few bugs, and you can no longer reload weapons underwater (swimming on surface reloads still allowed).

EDIT: 36 more reviews till 500. So close to ending my vow of celibacy.

Still need to put the Meatiator minigun to good use, and what better way than a mod contest where you have to mow down as many ICE agents as possible? Just uploaded a patch with a new object called "iceAgent" complete with texture and face icon (thanks to dudithebudi).

The rules are simple: let the player use the minigun to execute as many Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as you can. LAPD would also be acceptable if you wanna make the texture. For police, I'm sayin', "Fuck you, punk", Readin' my rights and shit, it's all junk. Don't get arrested out there (or illegally abducted by pussies in masks).

Deadline is August 5th at 11:59pm. First place gets $60. Runner-ups will get some Steam keys (I'm guessing there will be multiple submissions this time).

Also, there should be another patch out in July with new features for the world editor. Don't wanna be specific yet in case the features don't work out.

Was playing Smashzone's Arctic Adventure mod and got frustrated with Brigand's half-functional ladders. I climbed up a lighthouse and found a revolver, then couldn't get back down. Problem is fixed and you can now climb down ladders by using them from the top. You can also stop half-way up and not fall off automatically.

Also increased max save and story slots from 20 to 30, added new menu option to change plugin font type separately from normal font type, and updated default Steam Deck controls.

Warlordocracy Ch.5 is out and the main story is now finished. I haven't playtested from the beginning since Ch.2 was released, so the balance is gonna be all fucked up. I will playtest all summer and leave early access in August, hopefully.

Then there will be Chapter 6: The Path of Glass, set 25 years later, and your party members will all be old with decreased stats, so you don't get overpowered. That should be out by New Years.

Warlordocracy looks like a JRPG, but I promise you, it is not a JRPG. Those are just the easiest graphics for modders to make their own stories with.
