Would it be possible to keep the game alive on unofficial 3rd party servers?
Well, the title says it all. I don't really play the game (20hrs put in) but it's a shame to see it end.

The sad truth is, the game was just no longer financially viable to keep running. Too few players and not enough revenue being generated to justify the money spent on servers, devs, etc.
