While the developers have not explicitly stated it, there is unlikely be further content for the game. The game is complete and they have moved on to port the game to consoles. That's what they've been doing past 2+ years. Unfortunately very little information about the ports have been posted and last one is from over a year ago so we don't know how the porting is progressing or how far they are on it:

Official mod support is unlikely due to problems that occurred with some modders early in game's development. Modding was very nearly banned due to those issues back in the day so official endorsement is highly unlikely to happen.

Im sorry to hear the game cost a lot for you, but that doesnt change the fact this is a stand alone game where updates should not be expected upon purcahase.

unfortunately the game is more or less finished for the foreseeable future, its been in development since 2019, so what is here is already years of updates.

..Das Spiel ist vor zwei Jahre fertig geworden deswegen ist es lahmmm..
..wenn ich sowas blödes hier in der diskussiun lese das Spiel ist seit 2 Jahre fertig geworden denke ich mir sowas (hey dumme Spieler das Spiel ist fertig wir machen nichts mehr, wir suchen nur noch dumme die das kaufen) !!! :)
..nix für singleplayer-spieler auch wenn man easy einstellen tut es macht keinen Spaß
..andauernd verreckt mein Charakter weil ich nichts zum Essen und Trinken habe aber es wird nicht gezeigt im Spiel woher ich das Kriege und bevor ich so weit bin zum Essen und Trinken bin ich da fünf sechs mal gestorben sinnlos.
..kein Tutorial keine Erklärung wie welche Tasten man benutzen sollte.
man musste dies extra bei Einstellung nachgucken wofür die Tasten da sind.
..und das langweilige am Spiel ist Haken auswerfen Haken einholen Haken auswerfen ach so wollte ich schon mal sagen Haken einholen hacken auswerfen da tun mir die Finger weh !!

nach 50 Minuten Spielzeit habe ich alles rausbekommen wie das Spiel funktioniert aber ich bin enttäuscht dass ich davon nur wirklich 10 Minuten genossen habe . und bevor ich mich noch weitere 50 Minuten antue mit rumplagen und schimpfen ist hier das Spiel zu Ende bei mir
