Good CRPG, but a little short and has a few problems. The combat could do with a lot of polishing; even though I played through a diplomacy route, any time there was combat it just doesn't feel very satisfying to play. I really like the exploration, but a lot of the loot you get you end up having to sell because you either don't have enough armor handling to use it or the stats aren't that great. A lot of the skills are very circumstantial. For example, stealing you primarily use to pickpocket which the opportunities for are few and far between. or biotech you end up only being able to use 3 or 4 implants without being able to switch them around. The story is OK, towards the end I found myself skipping a lot of the dialogue because it becomes clear how the story was going to conclude. I will say, though, I did enjoy playing through this game for the most part, but I don't recommend it anywhere near full price. There's a lot of other great CRPGs out there that are far cheaper and far more fulfilling. However, if this is on sale I think you should absolutely give it a go.

Wanted to like this game, I love CRPGS , decent and novel story and graphics are basic but the art style is cool. However combat is simplistic and becomes repetitive, the stealth mechanic is frustrating and requires a specialist character to get anywhere and overall I felt it was very poorly balanced.

It's a unique journey. You will not regret it.

Great RPG with turn-based combat. User interface is intuitive and easy to use. Tutorials are quick and helpful. Background info is woven into the dialogue well and not long blocks of distracting text. Game presents real choices which allow for variable play styles. Talking often leads to success and not just a delayed shootout. Fast travel system is fantastic.

i like a good story driven choices matter game. for me this is really good. anyone saying otherwise is just WRONG

Really enjoyed this one, good turn based tactical RPG with nice story and writing. Was fun to play.

The story is interesting enough, the set pieces are beautiful, and the characters are well written (at least at the start), even if in my opinion there isn’t enough dialogue. I find most complaints about the difficulty exaggerated. It is system-heavy but very doable, and most difficult fights are optional challenges. A improvement from AoD

I enjoyed it for what it is, but I have to say, I find age of decadence just better, the only things I find to be improved are the visuals (no complaints here) and the combat.
And the combat is still far below of what it could, should, be. It feels unresponsive, no death animations, boring sound design, no feeling of impact. That is the real problem with the combat, it just feels bad. The difficulty is a smokescreen in my opinion.

Besides that do Chapter 2 and onwards feel rushed and not well fleshed out. It feels like it suffered from budget constraints and the dialog becomes more and more hollowed out as well. You basically warp from location to location talk to a couple of people, get a nice reveal (I liked the reveal) and thats that, end of the game.

I do not think that the full price is worth it.
But I bought it in sale and am happy with what I got and the experience I had with it.

Its's well done as far as writing goes, mechanics aren't great but areas feel good and its worth the money as far as turn based goes
