If you encounter problems such as:

1. Steam is downloading or redownloading the game.
2. Updated failure
3. No any .exe files in the folder

This means your antivirus has got a false positive report on the core file, stars.exe.

Since the game uses a special method to encapsulate the main program, some antivirus software, including but not limited to Windows Defender, Kaspersky, Symantec, Windows Defender, Cybereason, ZoneAlarm, Baidu, and Qihoo-360, may detect stars.exe as a trojan or backdoor.
