After you kill the guardian, if certain parts of his body go off screen, all of the static image of him disappears. Think of it this way, about 1/6th of the ground on screen is covered by his head and flag, but if you move one more step away, the Guardian disappears offscreen. One step towards the Guardian's corpse and all of a sudden you have a 1/6th or so of the ground covered by his corpse again. It is quite jarring when encountered. After 30 minutes and a little exploration, I feel that the rifle is fairly overpowered. It's got a low delay between shots, very high damage, and the piercing is great. I'd definitely recommend increasing the delay between shots to encourage people to switch weapons, or perhaps limit the piercing with targets. I found myself not wanting to touch any other weapon any time I had it. The gattling gun, on the other hand, feels a little weak.
