Do you have to find all 28 in a single playthrough or do the ones you've found previously carry over?

You can do it after a playthrough with chapter select. The seeds which you have collected will stay

Okay thanks, guess I'll keep looking then. It'd be nice to have a tracker of some kind, maybe in the chapter select a counter showing how many seeds have been found next to each chapter selection, just to know where I should narrow my search to. I took the time to search and explore on the first playthrough and went beyond 3/4 seeds. I've found a few others I know I missed the first time around, but not knowing how many more I'm still missing (it can't be more than a couple) is a bit frustrating.

You can look what Seeds you have by pressing the touchpad as far as I know. You can See the coloured ones are completed and the dark ones are open

Ah okay I found it. I didn't realize that the pause menu is a chart of the seed collection. I just passed it off as a pretty background graphic when I first saw it and really hadn't paused the game much since to notice it was tracking what seeds I'd found. Looks like I've got just one last seed hiding around somewhere. Thanks again for the help.
