The game crashed the moment I cleared mission 1. There may be a problem with changing the mission difficulty. (I used a translator)

After playing this at magfest this year, came home and immediately bought it, and have been loving it, and was looking forward to the Super Duper update.... but unfortunately, my 8bitdo Pro2 controller (which previously worked) does not seem to work at all, on any of the input modes (Steam, Xbox, Playstation, or Switch). Additionally, the game launches to a partial white screen on steam deck now and never goes any further....

Restarted my PC 3 times, uninstalled, reinstalled, checked the cache, did everything I could think of and still no executable file.

The only thing I have enabled is the on-screen tips after losing. I'm just trying to get right into playing, but I keep getting interrupted by the "control the games here with x" every time

I went through Practice mode and failed all those (And tried to do the same in normal mode), still haven't got it. Also no idea what the Participation Award achievement even means since nothing is called that. If anyone knows, let me know :)
