Game window extends beyond the screen no matter what I do....
I have a 1920x1080 monitor, literally the most common resolution there is. No matter what I do (restart, verify, reinstall, select different resolution etc.) the game simply does not fit the screen, it extends beyond the screen. It is infuriating and I am close to giving up on the game..

Hello, can you share a screenshot about that and show me the settings in the options screen? The game is developed primarily in 1920x1080 so it should not have any issue fitting that (yes, most people play like that)

Did you maybe change the UI settings, or maybe due to your setup the game erroneously made some changes on the first load. You can also try going into the game save data in local data (see the pinned message) and delete local0.age file so local settings are reset. Let me know, thanks!

Hi, deleted the local.age file and all dotAGE files too. Same issue no matter what settings I use. Screencaps here: https://imgur.com/a/3yE8j16

Oh that's really weird, I'm trying to understand what might be happening here. Is your screen effectively 1920x1080? I suppose it is but I ask just in case.
Are you on windows 10?

What happens if you reduce the UI scale in the settings in the interface section? That will reduce the scale of all the UI so it might solve your problem.

If you can send me your log file (please see the pinned thread) it might have more hints at what is happening. Thanks

From a check with my screens, it looks to me like you might have a UI Scale at 9, as I get a similar size with that. If that is true, can you set that to 5?
I have no idea why you would have a 9 if you reset everything
Or, if it is already at 5, can you try reducing it and check?

Hi! I had this exact thing happen to me to on 1920x1080 144Hz monitor - the solution for me was to enable the Pixel Perfect setting under Video.
