Report a translation problem
I.e. Intensifies hope production +1 within 1 tile means adjacent hope producers generate 1 extra hope when this building is running. (I can't remember the exact format for the wording, but that's what it does)
The intensifier doesn't have to be running; only the building receiving the effect has to be running.
This is not true for buildings getting bonuses from adjacent buildings (like +4 if nature building within 2), it happens even if the adjacent building is empty.
So, when the intensifier building is active with a worker working, it provides +1 of the relevant resource to related buildings within 1.
