Xbox 360 controller not working. [SOLVED]
You need to enable "steam overlay while in game".

Don't tell me this game has exactly the same problems as Nights of Azure 1 has, damn it so interrested in both games but if the controls make it a hell to play then no thanks.

I didn't have this problem on the first game... that is why I am confused.

Yup my xbox controller isn't detected at all (but does vibrate when hit). Just another pathetic port like all KT games.

Yes, when you take damage, the vibration works... I cross my fingers wishing I can play today... I don't think you need so much time to fix a controller detection... but it is Koei.

Keep those fingers crossed they never fixed the controller problem with the first game either. To bad guess I'll go get them on the console as they seems to be pretty fun games otherwise> Damn KT and their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC ports

I fixed my problem but now it's something else. Your controller must be plugged in/powered up before you start the game for it to work. However when you try to launch the game you'll get a warning from steam about compadability mode. You can still play but you are forced to deal with the controller hud (which is ugly as ♥♥♥♥)

My controller is always plugged so... I tried to plug/unplug it too, etc... :S.

Odd. I have two different controllers. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wired Gamestop one my bro got me awhile back and a official wireless one. Both refused to work on this game until I unplugged and plugged em back em and then launched the game.

If my controller works in all games I have including Koei games (Nights of Azure, Atelier Sophie, Atelier Firis and Blue Reflection), the problem is Koei, not me.

Im aware. my controllers also work for all my games. This is the first game where I had to do a workaround for it. If it doesn't work for you then only option I can give you is to wait for them to fix it....but we both know that'll never happen
[rori] Nade 24 Oct, 2017 @ 9:17am
I tried what you said but I don't receive any warning from steam about compatibility :S.

Sorry then :( my knowledge for it ends here then since it got mine up and running
[rori] Nade 24 Oct, 2017 @ 9:24am
No problem, thank you anyway.

Well, I solved the problem, the most stupid thing I tried. I enabled the "steam interface in game" and now the game detects my gamepad... sigh.
