No, the game uses a standard touchpad/joystick locomotion method. The speed is comfortable and motion sickness isn't common. If you do experience any motion sickness, you are entitled to a refund! The game is best played with an Xbox controller, although the Vive wands and Touch controllers can also be used for input; there just isn't any hand detection. It's unnecessary in this experience.

No, if you already own the original, then upon release, the VR Edition will be added to your Steam library free of charge. Also, if you buy the VR Edition and do not already own the regular game, you'll get the regular game for free.

Yes! We don't want to charge a single dime extra for vr mode. The reason why we had to do it like this is because the game was rebuilt from the ground up and is actually a completely different application. Since the VR mode runs standalone from the original, we had to sell it as a separate title, since Steam doesn't support Standalone DLCs.

We just pushed a well needed update with huge performance improvements and new features!

• Invert Y-axis option. It can be toggled on/off from the in-game pause menu.
  
  
• Dynamic narration audio. Narration volume should now adjust based on music and location. Previously, the music would drown out the narration; this is now fixed.

• Drastic performance improvements.
  
  
• Optimized texture streaming for less texture pop-in.
  
  
• Fixed windowed mode not correctly displaying game name.
  
  
• Fixed an out of bounds glitch in chapter 3.
  
  
• Improved culling of foliage and level streaming for better performance.
  
  
• Reduced file size to 5gb. Nearly half of what it was!

• Unfortunately, you may still experience some slight texture pop-in if you are running at 4k resolution. This is something we are looking into. It is caused by lack of v-ram, so if your card has less than 4gb of v-ram, we recommend you don't run at 4k to avoid this issue.
  
  
• LOD pop-in is still being improved. In the next update, this should be completely fixed.
