Just finished the game for the first time, but I missed about four or five of the collectable memories. My immediate instinct after finishing the game is that if you got them all the game would give you a "good" ending, but from the discussions I'm seeing I'm guessing that there's just the one ending I've seen. Do you get anything for getting the memories aside from just being able to see the memories themselves?
