DMC3 is a masterpiece and one of the top games on the PS2.
Best way to put it, DMC2 is like being in a low budget B rate action movie. DMC3 is like if that B rated movie suddenly got a big budget studio to take it from a cult classic into a master piece.
Then DMC 4 is if that Master Piece gets a well deserve sequel but its started a new protag but then that movie get re-released with deleted scenes and its even better.
Then DMC 5 is like a sequel that you can watch without seeing the prior stuff. It takes place far in the future and kinda feels self isolated despite all the original cast showing up and tons of references from the first game.
DmC: Devil May Cry, The Remaster, is basically The Amazing Spider-man. It has its fans, tons of folks hate on it because it wasn't like the original, but it does a pretty good job standing out on it own and even influence the next sequel after it to a heavy degree (Disney's Spiderman and DMC5 respectfully).
I can't wait for Maid Mint to get to DMC2.
but dmc 3 and 5 are all time goty
That's fairly common knowledge.
this is just glazing, dmc1 aged horribly and it's combo system might as well not even be there. dmc4 is good in the first half until you need to backtrack with dante and fight the same bosses again and not to mention it also has the dice puzzle.
