Did you ever heard about "Chaos Legion"?

Have you ever heard about this game?
Once upon a time, back in 2007, I came across this game on a disk, when I launched it, I realized that this game is very similar to Devil May Cry (and it was also published by CAPCOM itself), but since I could not set up the controls for gamepad on PC, I decided to look in stores for a copy of the game on PS2, but no one had heard of this game, and when I explained it to them, they said that the only game similar to Devil May Cry (at that time) was God of War. Years later, I lost this game, and forgot the name, and started looking for this game, but nowhere I could find any information, I entered in the search "games similar to Devil May Cry", searched through the developers, but without success, and somehow dropped this. And today, I tried to find this game again, and through various queries in the search, in Google images, I stumble upon this https://i.redd.it/ptujnbsa0ah71.jpg
Have you ever seen this game before? And why do you think this game is not mentioned in articles about similar Devil May Cry games?

I only remember that I once had the game, but that is it

. I am guessing I dont remember it because it wasnt all that good.

After watching the Vid some I remember at bit more. Its not really a Devil May Cry game. It falls more inline with a Warriors game. You controlled Monsters that you could use to form armies that you helped take over areas and conquer Maps. It was an interesting idea, but not very good.

In articles about games similar to Devil May Cry, Bloodborne is often mentioned, but this game is not at all like Devil May Cry, it's more Dark Souls.
But Chaos Legion, although not completely, is reminiscent of Devil May Cry, level design, monsters, collecting orbs, etc.

But its Combat is not like Devil May Cray and that is what makes a Devil May Cry game. Again Chaos Legion played more like a Warrior game in that respect. You asked why its not listed as one and that is your answer. Sorry its not what you wanted.

Yes i own this game for the PS2. There is also a PC Version. Dunno if there is any differences between them. This game is okayish i think. It has its up and downs but its hard to say if its better than DMC. The gameplay is kinda similar to DMC (comparing to DMC 1-3).

Hard to say if its recomnend because like i said it has up and downs.

Have to agree with the others, Chaos Legion is very average. If you're really into those types of games, it wouldn't hurt checking it out, though.

The PC port is also hilariously broken. (It barely works and textures are completely corrupted on modern systems) There's no point in trying that one, PS2 is the way to go for that game.

Thing is Warrior Style Games play nothing like Devil May Cry. Sure they are 3D "Brawler" Games, but how they play is very different. It would be like saying COD and Doom are the same just because they are FPS.
