Suggestion: Trading Cards should drop faster
I just finished a 1.5hr playthrough, and none of the trading cards had dropped. For a game that most people finish in a little over an hour it seems like cards need to drop faster I actually deleted the game from my PC before I realized this, and subsequently re-downloaded to idle the game for cards to drop. This game runs hot on my graphic card, so not exactly best for my PC.

edit: Anybody else not having cards drop, or just me? thanks.

If you've ever refunded a game then the 1st card drop won't happen until 2 to 3 hours have been played. Some unscrupulous people where buying games just to get the cards and then refunding.

You can use 'Idle Master Extended' to tell steam the game is playing until the cards have dropped or there is 'Idle Daddy' which is an android app but I don't know if Idle Daddy will let you pick 1 specific game to idle.

I'll investigate that. I can't tell for sure from the description, but does the game actually have to be running with idle master enhanced, or does idle master make steam think the game is running (without the game actually running)?.

I'm reading here: https://github.com/JonasNilson/idle_master_extended

I actually bought Caligo using spare change from selling cards, so even though I don't play many games, it does add up over time. thanks,

No, the game doesn't need to be running if using idling software. IM extended can tell Steam up to 30 games are running at once - that speeds things up a bit if you have a lot of unplayed games with card drops remaining.

That sounds great. I'd heard that people used it, but never tried it myself and didn't realize it actually bypassed actually having the game running in background. I should've checked it out sooner. Thank you!

Agreed with the card drops.
I finished the game and only received one card; it's not a game I would play again for more.
