Objective Comparison Between Mordhau & Chivalry 2
This post will not have anything subjective in it. Things like Chivalry 2's held block, universal dodge, counters, etc as compared to Mordhau's timed parries and emphasis on dragging will not be discussed. This will only be objective truths that are undeniable pros and cons of each game.

Chivalry 2
Pros]
  • More cohesive artstyle
  • Dedicated flourish button
  • Much better dialogue & emote menus
  • Has the Jolly Chef voice

Cons
  • Bad netcode causes phantom hits, not even that rarely
  • Worse animations
  • Limited time modes are only sometimes available
  • Queue & party system is very buggy and often has you need to restart your game

Mordhau
Pros
  • More character customization
  • Engineers are much better
  • Better animations

Cons
  • Obnoxious looking characters with no team cohesion
  • Engineers are much better
  • Does not have the Jolly Chef voice
  • Queue & party system is very buggy and often has you need to use the server browser

I VERY HARD disagree on the chivalry 2 much better dialogue and emote menus, you can't speak during a fight, the simple menu like chivalry 1 and mordhau are far more intuitive

The fact it blocks your crosshair if you ust to want to say a dialogue, which to me is important to make it accessible so we can want to use it more often and even spam it

You can speak during a fight, and it's a million times easier to do it since you just press button then move the mouse very slightly as opposed to Mordhau's where you mash a button (make sure to remember how many times to mash it) then move your fingers a country mile to press a number key (make sure to remember which key it is).

It's trivial for me to be singing 100% of the time in Chivalry 2. Whenever a song ends or I take damage (the only action that interrupts vocalizations) all I do is press q, move the mouse a centimeter to select the top left option, then release q.

It's nowhere near your crosshair. Do you mean that it blocks turning? Because you can just release the key. It only blocks turning while you're holding the key, which you don't need to be for more than a fraction of a second if you remember the much-more-intuitive directional based input instead of needing to remember "ah of course I press x x x 5 to do this thing". Even if you remember all of the awkward inputs of Mordhau it objectively takes more time and effort to press several buttons than it does to press one button and move your mouse a centimeter.

It's amazing how accurate this is

I see that objective and undeniable truth is bait to you, may I inquire if are you one of those people who think the Earth is flat as well?

The exact same anti-scientific narrative nazis used during WW2 to make people think the Aryan race is somehow superior than the other to unite people against illusionary external threats, which if you read hystory, is what resulted in WW2 in the first place.

Don't repeat his mistakes.

can't wait next patch and see them migrating to chivalry2 forever)
agreed, though you should include map design and the way combat differs

Those are subjective. The only gameplay related thing that's objective is that Mordhau's animations look better.
