Main intro theme different from Playstation and Vita release

As the title suggests, as someone who's played this game on vita this was one of the very first things i noticed, why is the final boss theme being used instead of the original Lost Dimension by Fripside aka this one https://youtu.be/XA5wd-PWw1Q?si=PBBqJArJ5tiAL85E ? My only assumption is because of licensing but given the name of the song and the name of the game literally being one in the same it would be presumptuous of me to assume that this song was specifically made for this game, so i was wondering ...

How much of the story has been ruined for me?

While checking to see if any of the DLC was actually worth picking up before starting the game, I slipped up and saw a review for the extra maps mentioning one character betraying the team. While I have no idea who the characters are, the name naturally burned itself into my skull in my desperate attempts to not remember it. Now that I have this information, how much of the story is ruined for me? Is it still worth bothering?...
