Hmmm, demo.
I liked the look of this game so got the demo. I thought this might be worth a buy but a couple of points. I got the code for the door right at the begining but could not put it down, I mean, couldn't memorize it, couldn't throw or drop it so I couldn't enter the code. Had to exit and restart to see. No save? right back at the start. How is the game going to save?

Hi! I'm Johnny, one of the creators of The Fall of Lazarus. First of all, thanks for playing our demo! It means a lot for us.

Yeah, the demo has no save system yet. You had to check for the code in the Mnem/0z1n3, the tool you cann pick up in your locker. Its like an inventory.

In the full game there will be checkpoints. The demo is so short we didn't developed the saving system because we had other priorities.

P.S.: Oh! I think you were talking about you got the piece of paper but you couldn't do anything with it in front of you. The controls are in the room you wakes up, right in front of you in the wall or in the options menu. If you pick up an object you can drop it with the Q key in the keyboard or throw it away with the center button of the mouse.

Thanks for the reply but I know that. What I'm saying is I have the inventory 'tool', I read all the controls in the other room. I collected the stuff from the locker and have a piece of paper. I can rotate it but can't put it down. Q does nothing, Tab does nothing and the middle mouse button does nothing. I cannot put the paper down so I can go on to use the code.
It looks an interesting game though.

Sorry to hear that, it seems like a bug. We will look into it. I assume you tried restarting the demo and happens every time?

To be honest no. I did restart but because it went back to the start I turned it off, had to go out shortly.

Could not get past the first puzzle identifying the geometric shapes. Too much keyboard back and forth with the a and d keys. After 30 minutes, that was enough. I would go nuts if this was my robot contriled surgery implement. Should be mouse controled, not keyboard.

I appear to have an entirely different issue-- the empty room after the elevator that has a door I can't open. Nothing seems to be interactive, and I can't get to the inventory beastie.

I'm still hoping for a review copy, however.

Hello, developers,
I played the demo and got disappointed with the graphics. They look outdated, boring and much worse than in the trailers on the game’s store page even on the epic level of quality. The most important thing that disappointed is that there is no support for 1920 x 1200 (16:10 aspect ratio) and 4K resolutions. Also there is no FOV setting. The default FOV in the demo is so low it brings claustrophobic feeling. Another drawback is that there no option to rebind keys.
Are you going to add these settings to the full game?

Without a "rebind keys" option in the demo it's indeed not really possible to play the game on a non-qwerty keyboard... So I never got out of the first room, and it looks I never will.
