Is it abandoned? Yes. Even their Discord is now rife with scammer bots etc. because they no longer even look at their own Discord. The game was a part time hobby for the devs and they both have full time positions in a mobile game company in Israel. They simply dropped it as a hobby.

I'll say it once and for all: these 2 games, KINGDOMS and Legends of Ellaria are produced by the same people, apparently Russians, who not only copied the same mechanics, the same damn dungeons that make your eyes bleed, but also the same intention of never finishing the game, nor improving it, once enough money has been collected from gullible buyers.

Developers of Ellaria are based in Israel. Not sure if they left the country to dodge the war, but they are surely not Russian.
Developers of KINGDOMS are Russian, but not the same people. Obliviously.
The mechanics also very different to the point that it's different genre with different setting build around different core idea. The only similaries are some parts of interface (which is the same as dozens other games and Legend of Ellaria changed the interface at least 3 times at that point) and some shared assets (probably bought from the same people in the asset market).
