Hey everyone, I've been working on a Chrono Trigger characters remake for the past month and a half, and I'm excited to share the first time I ever published something like this with you all! I am a long-time fan of Chrono Trigger and I was looking for either a video or art of characters with today's graphics since there's a lot of talk about a remake, but I failed to find them - so I took it upon my self to make them from scratch - the exception being Robo as I found what seems to be a 3D model. Anyway...

Which is the better way to play? I dont know if the game and steam will play nice with my Switch Pro Controller so maybe the keyboard way is better?

I know this has been asked a lot and I've been doing a little digging myself. I understand that the Steam version has the anime cutscenes and the new dungeons which I've heard they are somewhat a throwaway. However, I care a lot about the characters and I've heard that the new translation is included in this version which takes away the accent that a character named Frog has which takes away from his personality. Are there any mods that can help with this and customize it to make it as close to perfect? ...

Heard lots of praise for the game but also heard lots of negative about this port. It was on sale for 10 dollars a bit ago and I picked it up. How is the port these days? Is it fixed or at least better? Never played the game so I hope the port is at least better these days, would love to play it....

I never had this issue on windows 10, but on windows 11, my game is stuttering when i walk around now. Something in the new operating system must be causing this. After testing it, it happens more in Original graphics version and when running. When walking it is not very apparent....
