That was partly because of a trick it plays on you, but it also just legit had way too much HP.
LOL..you should play the new FF 7 remakes...they take much much longer on them..and in ff16. They take hours to beat some of those bosses. I remember about trying to beat a adamantium turtle took forever too.
Oh that trick? Well it is fun to figure out the strategy by yourself..once you do it is pretty easy.
Plus pc version has bugs on launch making at run way faster at higher framerate. I was wondering if I sucked compared to when I played as a kid.
I think it's because some tryhard fans complained that the game was too easy so Square made super tanky enemies to satisfy them. Meanwhile new players will come across them without realizing they are endgame bosses that absolutely need endgame gear before tackling.
Also wasn't Adamantoise in FF15? I've yet to beat 16.
