[MOD] Woolsey Translation
Hey everybody! For anyone who wants to enjoy the SNES translation again, here you go!

I'm starting with Orion1189's ClassicTranslation1.2_Complete as my base file. So huge thanks to him! Also huge thanks to Zeikar for the Dialogue Timing Fix! He was kind enough to edit my files and provide the font switcher trick.

Thanks to various people who have pointed out errors, typos, things missing.

UPDATE 9/20/2024:
HUGE Thank You to El_Sama for pointing out a few missed lines from the viewers at Lucca's telepod! I completely missed these people.

you should ask for workshop support.

That would be great to see, but that most likely won't happen any time soon.

You know Steam workshop? You can see it in Skyrim forum, CSGO forum, TF2, etc...

Start one up, keep it bump, and maybe they read it, if it's even true they claim they're reading at all.
only problem is that my topics always gets attacked and then some times even locked. someone else have to do it to avoid the topic being branded as unserious.

Updated download link. Contains updates from Zeikar. Thank you to him!

Story changes for this download go to the first meeting with Ayla in Mystic Mountains.

I am getting close to Magus's castle!

The original Ted Woolsey should be included in all Chrono Trigger releases, and even be set as the default translation. The re-translation loses a lot of its charm and heart, IMO.

BTW, Magus39, does your mod restore all character, item, and location names to their original SNES ones?

SE definitely must include the original SNES translation to Steam CT, if they ever aim to actually make a definitive edition of CT.

Yes, all character names (Knight Captain instead of Commander), items, item descriptions, tech descriptions, text that would appear as a battle message (for instance fighting masa & mune, when you win. "Apart Masa & Mune are powerless"), location names on the world map, and all the NPCs you can encounter in the game.

The hard part is going to be the things that were added to the DS version. There is no SNES script to go off of there.

Nice work! All that stuff should be in Steam CT by default, and hopefully SE will add it to the game, and do a full overhaul of the game.
