So we played the game for a while
Hi devs,

While playing, me and Hyena came up with a few suggestions. We're by no means fighting game gods or anything, but we have played our fair share of them(we both play Tekken competitively and I've played quite a bit of SF, MVC2 and KOF, also Hyena pointed out he's played Skullgirls a fair bit).

The suggestions are more quality of life changes rather than radical changes in design(at least that's what we think anyway).

So here we go:

Inputs could be a bit tighter(we found you have to slightly delay your attack input if you want to do a special) -would make linking into supers more consistent and easier, also would make whiffpunishing and punishing with them easier.

You should be able to do air specials at the start of your jump arc as well, it would give more options while playing and would make the gameplay more fast paced, also it would make okizeme considerably more interesting on many characters. It would also allow for crossups on characters like Mazu, it would allow Amaterasu to use her jumping hard shot(cant remember the name) to get away from the opponent when they're in your face.

Jump arcs are too floaty on some characters, Anubis and Sif come to mind. Tighter jump arcs would allow you to pressure your opponent more with air overheads and it would again make empty jumping a more efficient okizeme option.

And lastly, though minor:
Anubis' super should lose the no damage option, instead it could do half damage(as in it could deal half damage when the scales don't fall your way, normal when theyre even and double when they fall in your favor), that way it would always reward for landing it.

Oh also, now that I'm typing this my friend pointed out that Athena's H.dp should hit overhead as it would make pressuring a lot better on her since her only overheads atm are only jumping attacks, which makes them slow and as such they are not great options on a pressure heavy character like her.

Thats it I think, kickass game though we've had a lot of fun with it. Really hope you guys keep improving it.
