bottom line: good game but i can see how its decisive...... recommended for 10 usd or less.

the graphics are great for 2017, and the sound is amazing, great score and good sound effects, I like the screams enemy's make when you gut them.

the story is insane, makes the first game look like saving private ryan all things considered.

game play can be a bit frustrating, you can often get soft locked into geometry, get stuck trying to vault or climb, and some enemies take a trillion bullets but can two shot you in less than a second. The big dogs are some of the worst enemies in all of gaming.

your choice at the beginning of the game can either give you a great weapon or a shoddy weapon.... So I would recommend being a left leaning individual.

game is about 6-7 hours so its pretty short. DLC is too much money and looks like crud.

The virtue signaling and racist remarks against white people ruined this game for me.

The pacing of this game is terrible. Whether it's the unskippable cutscenes, walking through 7 tunnels / rooms with no enemies, or trying to find the tiny HP / ammo / armor pick ups before the next room, it's just such a slog to play through.
The dialogue, for a 'cinematic, story driven' game, is awful and makes you scratch your head and be like 'wait what lol'.
For example 'I've been looking for warheads using the warhead map, there are tons of warheads!' like, okay? No context, no mention of warheads for the rest of the level, the line just randomly exists in the game.
When duel wielding, LMB shoots the right gun, and RMB shoots the left. Why? No idea.

Its just a lot of fun and nice gunplay. And many absurd moments, i love it.
The only problem is: Wolfenstein III when?

The most horrible and boring cut scenes that you CAN'T SKIP of any game I've ever played. I last 2.9 hours and over 50% of that was watching these long tedious cut scenes. You are forced to watch a 10min cut scene in the beginning which you can't even window the game and do something else and come back to. After 10 mins, you think to yourself ok I can finally play the game and you spend 1 minute playing before it goes into another 5 min cut scene that you can't skip again. I'm now on the sub and going through another massive stupid cut scene. I closed the game after 3 mins of this crap and requested a refund. I get very little time by myself and when I get to game, I come to tune out the world. Instead of playing the game, I'm being forced to watch a horrible movie. The sheer arrogance of the game developers to think they built such an amazing story that people have to see it. Doesn't matter if the game has won Game of the Year and is free, I still will never play another Wolfenstein game in my life again.

If they gave you the option to play as the Nazis in this game no one would play as the resistance.

1st playthrough, 2017, ~8.5/10.
2nd playthrough, 2024, 4/10.

What's good:
+ Graphics. Still look great in 2024. Although, the picture is quite blurry. Thanks to consoles, I guess?
+ Music.
+ Characters. But only when they aren't talking woke nonsense.

What's bad:
- Wokeness. I wasn't really sure what it was when I played this game back in 2017 because I lived in Eastern Europe and back there we perceived the racist-feminist-LGBT clowning happening in the West as a surrealist joke, so I though that was just a weird creators' choice. It turned out it's just Scandinavian game devs are gay AF.
So, in this game we have:
* Anya Oliwa - a pregnant woman dual wielding rifles, saving BJ and shooting enemies while being completely topless. So "preganenant"! So strong!
* Grace Walker - a strong black woman who's also a mother. Despite having a baby, she smokes. Also, she becomes pissed after hearing the phrase "had balls of steel" because they're "small little delicate things". Just so you know, testosterone (secreted by the "balls") is what makes a difference between men and aggressive women (they have it too, but ratios are different and the entire endocrine system works differently) who are permanently angry for no reason. Also, according to her, "White America gave in", and only the brave black people didn't. Wow! Her crew, by the way, are all black and almost all of them are women.
* Norman "Super Spesh" Caldwell - Grace's white boyfriend, a submissive cuck who's also being the baby's mommy. Neither the wife, nor the daughter bear his last name. Uses the phrase "white ass fascist pig" while being white. How about black soldiers of Reich? Or Asian soldiers? Naaah, that's never happened, right? At least, not in our rainbow fairytail.
* BJ - a self hating white man who is torn between being a soldier and being a cuck. He uses the very same phrase said by Norman Caldwell - "white ass fascist pigs". You are also white, mister.
* Fergus Reid - an impulsive Scottish man who could not withstand the "black female power" and submitted.
* In this game, there're no non-white or female nazis (except Irene Engel, of course), while most of the resistance are women.

P.S. If you're a man but you refuse to admit this isn't a coincidence, before you send a clown, I recommend you check if you still have your balls and then check your hormone levels.
