The balancing in this game is like the puzzles in doom eternal, like why Devs ?
Man I got mad love for this game but the balancing for the campaign is awful. Mini bosses are cake walk but one cannon fodder enemy, you can kill you easy in seconds at any given range with pixel accuracy despite full health and armour. On higher difficulties this game becomes a mid stealth game instead of a balls to the wall Nazi killing simulator like its meant to be. Like the balancing is not deal breaker but its reminds me of halo 2 on legendary. Like balancing feels so out of place like the puzzles in doom eternal.

How do you guys feel about it.

That's kind of the beauty I found with this game tbh. Like Halo 2, it was a difficulty unbalanced nightmare, but when you've played it enough and mastered everything, there was a beauty to be found in the mess and chaos.
It was frustrating, it was nail bite inducing, but when you made it to those credits on Mein Leiben difficulty, it was relief like no other.

i couldn't agree with you more.

BJ is supposed to come off as this tough SOB, who can endure nearly anything, but ends up feeling like he's made of brittle glass at higher difficulty levels.

don't get me wrong, i love this whole game series, but the harder difficulty settings really expect you to have reflexes on par with ultra instinct in that regard.

dont even get me started on the half health bs in the beginning of the game.

felt like a cruel joke...

I mean... BJ spends half the game screwed up from the previous game so kinda makes sense. BUt yeah even on the easier settings this one is hard. You don't really notice it in the original game but the enemies there do a certain amount of damage based on range no matter what you do. If you stand still you die fast but if you sprint you take a constant amount of damage from anyone shooting you. Becasue you are so fragile here it becomes a cover shooter.
