The price increases the longer you're in that run (since the last Abdication), so it may have been affordable when it lit up, but then you clicked on it after it became unaffordable. Always re-check the cost if you click on it and it won't buy (you may need to move your mouse off and then back on to the upgrade).

In the future, please start a new thread rather than necro-post old ones. While this one doesn't have any other comments, the rule is in place to avoid necro'ing threads where outdated information may be given.
