I'm very surprised that the developer(s) is actively engaging in the forums of their 21 year old game. I don't see that very often, that's awesome. I saw this game in a video and thought it looked cool. I saw it's on Steam and that it has a native Linux port, so I'll absolutely be checking it out sometime....

Hi, on the 24th of August 2023, I attempted to get the latest Sphinx update, only to be met with "app configuration unavailable". Close to a week later, I'm still getting the same message no matter how many times I hit refresh or drag it to my download queue. And if it helps. my operating system is Windows 10, and I don't know what a Steam branch is. Hi, When opening the game on Linux (KDE Neon 6.0, based on Ubuntu 22.04) I get a message that says This version of EngineX needs the AL_SOFT_map_buffer extension for hot-plugging to work. Please update your OpenAL Soft library. Dismissing the message makes the game start, but there is no audio. Audio is normally through my graphics card in case it matters, AMD Radeon RX 6800....
