Before playing i heard a lot of negative comments about the game.
Mostly the switch to souls like mechanics, but honestly after playing Stellar Blade i felt like at home.
The gameplay is more similar to Stellar Blade instead of the classic Souls game.
My only initial disappointment was not having a map, but after playing a few hours i kinda enjoyed exploring the enviorment to look for secret place.
Overall i had a lot of fun with this chapter and i higly reccomend to play it.
On top of that Fury is an awesome character that grows on you

Even though Death is my favourite Horseman. I will personally say this is my favourite of the Darksiders games. it’s a third-person action game that isn’t afraid to grind your progress to a halt for an hour or more until you figure out how to beat a seemingly impossible boss. The combat is satisfying with Fury wielding a nice array of unique weapons and epic combos to unleash on enemies. And, you know, maybe not every game needs to be a giant open world with a million things to collect and a never ending supply of side quests. Darksiders III fits comfortably in that space.

Your appreciation of the characters and stakes of this roughly 17 hour story will get a boost if you’ve played at least the first Darksiders. Each game puts you in control of a different Horseman of the Apocalypse in a unique and interesting setting, this time as Fury. The only female horsemen.. Battling on a ravaged Earth where a war between angels and demons has pretty much left humans extinct. However unlike the previous two games, this one sees Fury hunt the seven deadly sins. Which make for a welcomed change from the forces of Heaven and Hell.

The bosses in Darksiders III are not messing around. While the first couple might not pose much of a threat, eventually you’ll encounter one that doesn’t seem to respond to any trick or attack you’ve learned up to that point. Not to ruin any surprises, but don’t be shocked if a boss doesn’t go down as easily as it seems they will. It can be frustrating to suddenly have the tables turned on you, to be sure, but with persistence success eventually (mercifully) comes. In this way, Darksiders III feels like it’s of another time, a time when designers weren’t afraid of scaring you away with difficulty.

That said, there is a particular puzzle section late in the game. That is just unforgivable. Like seriously whoever at THQ was responsible for that puzzle...who hurt you?
It is such an ruthless and cruel shot at a weary horsemen just wanting to get to that final boss. Legit almost had me put this game down and never return.
But I persevered and I'm grateful I did.
The character development and ending for the game is so promising it really highlights what a pity it was that the final Horsemen Strife, did not receive his own proper game like the other three. Instead we got a top down prequel, which really doesn't fit this franchise IMO.

But I digress. Darksiders 3 is well worth the time of any fan of the series. New and old.

I shouldn't pay for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC to be able to get all achievements on a game. Also the "DLC" should not have been DLC in the first place, not worth it.
